Fragmented

"Fragmented" is a chandelier that sheds light on the following question: What are the prerequisites for decision-making?

The loosely suspended shots from inside a complex organism refer to the ambivalence between cognition and the fragmented nature of knowledge. In other words, forty-two anonymised X-ray images from a Cologne hospital attached to carbon rods and illuminated from the inside pose a question on the preconditions for decision-making.

"Fragmented" is a hanging ceiling lamp. It is handmade and consists of recycled materials, carbon rods and old x-rays. It has a diameter of 188 cm and is illuminated by 5, 12V, E27 bulbs. All rights reserved - Copyright.
